Research

During the research phase, we conducted interviews with customers of WorldLink and developed a user persona based on the gathered insights. Following the interviews and user research, we proceeded to create a user journey map that visualizes the steps and touchpoints users go through when interacting with WorldLink’s services and app.

User Journey

A user journey map typically includes key stages, touchpoints, actions, thoughts, emotions, and pain points encountered by the user along the way. It helps UX designers and teams understand the user’s perspective, identify areas of improvement, and make informed design decisions to enhance the overall user experience.

We documented all the user goals and utilized that information to create a comprehensive user journey map, enabling us to gain a deeper understanding of the user’s entire journey and their interactions with the application.

Design

After extensive research and thorough brainstorming sessions, we have reached the final design for the revolutionary WorldLink app. This app represents the culmination of our efforts to create an innovative and user-friendly platform that will connect people from around the globe in a seamless and meaningful way.

The finalized design for the WorldLink app encompasses a range of cutting-edge features that ensure its effectiveness and user appeal. The interface is sleek, intuitive, and optimized for seamless navigation across different devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers. We paid meticulous attention to the visual aesthetics, employing modern and captivating design elements that reflect the app’s global connectivity theme.

After the client finalised the design, I spent a lot of time describing the user interface so that the developers could understand how to code it. The user interface design is a crucial part of any software development process, and I wanted to ensure that the developers had a clear understanding of the client’s vision. This would help them to code it accurately and efficiently. Even though I am working with Figma, which makes exporting the code quite easy, it is always helpful to have a reference point.
